For all candidates who passed their car test (cat B licence) after Jan 97, you are now required to take a LGV C1 driving test to drive 3.5 ton to 7.5 ton vehicles.
The test and training costs are exactly the same as a category C licence so we recommend that you look at taking training for a category C driving licence. This will give you more options. It means that you can drive an LGV upto 32 tonnes with eight wheels!!
