The purpose of the Driver CPC
This new qualification in being introduced to improve the knowledge and skills of LGV drivers with its main aims being:-
- Increase road safety
- Reduce fuel consumption and vehicle wear and tear
- Improving the profile of the driving profession
Data Academy is an approved centre based in Leicester for CPC training. We can deliver this CPC training to both companies and individuals and can tailor our course to suit your own requirements. NEW DRIVERS.
Anyone taking their LGV tests who passed their car test after 10th September 2009 will have to complete the initial CPC 2 and 4 module
You must also have completed your CPC Periodic Training by September 2014.
EXSISTING DRIVERS.
If you already hold an LGV licence then you automatically will have this CPC qualification. This is termed "Grandfathers Rights", however you will have to complete your CPC Periodic Training by September 2014.
