Category C is any rigid vehicle without a trailer weighing over 7.5 ton gross weight, this will include eight wheel tipper trucks 32 ton gross weight etc.
This LGV Categaory C licence must be obtained before you can upgrade to a C+E licence which is the licence required for any large goods vehicle with a trailer such as an Articulated unit and trailer.
