From the 1st January 1997 the driving licence laws changed. The effect of which means that if you passed your car driving test after this date you no longer have the automatic right to tow a caravan or trailer if your combined weight is over 3500kgs. Most cars and caravans will be over this weight. You therefore need to take a B+E  test so it can be added to your licence. (B=the vehicle you are driving and E=the vehicle you are towing, ie your caravan)

Our training starts with a short drive with our instructor who will access your driving capabilites and tailor the course to suit your individual requirements.Training will be done in Leicester and will be around the test routes that you will be taken on during your test. We will guarantee that after training you will be above test standard.

If you passed your car licence before 1st Jan 1997 you dont have to take the B+E test however, if you are new to towing or need some help with confidence building or reversing we can help. Caravan confidence courses can be from just a hour or two, to a couple of days. Give us a call on 0116 287 7692 to discuss or to send us a email please click here
